I had given up on ever getting my small dog’s nails trimmed again without full sedation. Two different vets and three different grooming places had refused to trim my dog’s nails. He would contort his body and wouldn’t let anyone near his paws, despite months of us trying to condition him to let us touch his paws. I saw Ana mentioned on a neighborhood group and decided to reach out to her. She has a warm personality and I immediately felt at ease with her working with my dogs. The first time she visited, I had just asked for my big dog to have her nails trimmed. I mentioned the little dog’s issues, and she wanted to give it a try. Sure enough, with some tricks up her sleeve, we were able to get his nails trimmed! We have Ana come over regularly, about every 4 weeks. Each time, I marvel at how easy Ana makes it look to trim my little pup’s nails. He loves to have a game of tug of war with her after his nail trim, and she always obliges! My big dog doesn’t like people coming into the house, but warmly greets Ana at the door every time she arrives. Thank you Ana for accomplishing the seemingly impossible!
